ABOUT ME

I am the founder of Shelki. For many many years I carried a lot of fear, shame and self judgement about my sexual energy. I felt embarrassed, confused, disconneted and misunderstood.

For more than 20 years I worked in formal education and inspired over 6000 young people and adults to be the best version of themselves. I have taught a wide range of courses across a number of settings and have written and delivered bespoke personal development courses for educational settings and charities. I have won a number of awards for voluntary and community work, including fund raising for causes close to my heart. My career was amazing and I loved teaching and my project work …

BUT…..(and there is a but) ……

Alongside this amazing, and successful career, I also had a secret life filled with fear and shame. I have been on a roller coaster journey with my sexuality since the age of 20 . I explored and indulged in a wide range of experiences in the world of Swinging, BDSM, Fetish and Kink. A lifestyle indulging in many expressions of sexual energy.

My double life of formal teaching verses a lifestyle of sexual curiosity was a see saw between amazing self discovery and dark places of depression and illness resulting of self judgement, fear, shame and guilt. In 2016 it became too much and after a time of depression and mild alopecia I decided something had to change.

SO WHAT DID I DO?

I made a very bold decision and gave up my career as a middle leader in a secondary school. I started a new and more expanded
journey into sexual energy. Two practices that were instrumental in my healing were the Energy Alignment Method and tantric massage – these changed my life forever. This gave me a vision to set myself up as self employed, so I could help others in their discovery too and, as they say, the rest is history.

SHELKI WAS BORN

Becoming a sexual energy practitioner has been its own journey (along a very different job title to school teacher). Becoming visible for all to see, and writing this have not been easy. I am fortunate, as my life experience, background and love for learning gives me a unique insight and an extensive range of qualifications to support my work. I have an Hons degree in Life Long learning, multiple qualifications in education and training as well as in Mental Health, Health and Social Care, British Sign Language, mindfulness coach, four types of Energy Healing and six different types of Massage, including tantric. I have also completed courses in Meta Health, Sex Addiction and Life Coaching – the list goes on.

I am proud of what I have achieved so far. I have been featured in newspapers, spoken on stage and reached global audiences through interviews across different social media platforms. I am fully trained in tantric massage and am one of the first 30 Energy Alignment Method (EAM) mentors in the world.

LIVING MY PASSION AND PURPOSE

I am blessed to work with, and transform, sexual energy through tantric massage, mindfulness, breath work, sensory connection and so much more. I connect people back to their physical and energetic body and remove embarrassment, shame, judgement and fear. I break down social conditioning, stigma, poor sex education, taboos and the misguided representation of sex in the media. I help people feel less confused, disconnected and disempowered.

I have no shame, fear or judgement in helping others to embrace their physical and energetic sexual energy.

I love helping people to explore their needs, wants and desires and very importantly break down the stigma and taboos. Sexual energy is a healthy and natural part of life and I honour our uniqueness.
